Arrows is the show our company takes its name from and with good reason.

First performed by Chris Cook in 2023 to mark ten years at the Edinburgh Fringe, Arrows was crafted as a one-night-only celebration in which Chris returned to his most iconic routine.

The arrows routine was first developed in 2015 by Chris Cook and Rhys Williamson for the show Truth or Dare. In it, an audience member was invited onstage to do something brave: they wrote down a dream, placed it on an archery arrow, rested the arrow against the soft part of their neck, and took a bold step forward. The moment challenged audiences to reflect on their own ambitions and ask what might be stopping them from making them happen.

The routine quickly became a fan favourite. Chris reprised it in his 2017 show Control, and to this day it remains one of the most popular and talked-about pieces he has ever created.

Arrows combines Cook’s trademark wit, warmth, and sleight-of-hand to build to this unforgettable finale.

The show can be booked by venues and festival. It is one-hour long, but an extended version can be performed if an interval is preferred.

“Watching a charismatic man in a stylish outfit do an impossible thing and then say it’s worthwhile to follow your dreams can be oddly comforting, and a great reminder to those who are already living out a childhood dream of how lucky they are to have been able to do so.”
