When a roofer knocks on his door, storyteller Rhys Williamson lets him in. He sits him at the dining room table. He offers him tea. What begins as a small repair spirals into mistrust, manipulation and the creeping fear that your home may no longer be yours.

A Very Difficult Person transforms a real roofing scam into a dark, uncanny modern fairytale. Using storytelling and object theatre, Rhys rebuilds the scene piece by piece: a model house, legal letters, bedtime stories turned battle cries. Having worked as a writer and director for Chris Cook since 2014, Rhys brings his theatrical experience to this bold debut show.
